Giveaway Winners Part 2 & A Bonus Winner!

"The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb."
Psalm 19:7-10

If you haven't read this post, this one may not make sense! So, you may want to go back and do that now before reading on.😃

After reaching out, I could not confirm that the giveaway entrant was legitimate. Zach says it was probably a bot. What threw me is that the comment left sounded so authentic, as if an actual live human had read my post. I just wanted to ensure I didn't cut anyone off or do anything unfair. Enough time has lapsed, and we can safely say it was not a genuine comment. So, guess what? We have our 5th winner! And keep reading below because there is a 6th one, too!

🎉🎈🎉Congratulations🎈🎉🎈

It blesses me to be able to bless, even in such a small way, those who have blessed me so much over the years.

Recently, a dear friend shared a video, and I was introduced to the music of the Powell Sisters. Our friend didn't know my family's history regarding the song "The Shepherd's Point of View," but that was the very song she shared! I was utterly taken aback and so very blessed.

I will never forget the first time Kevin, Zach, and I heard this song sung by the McKameys. We were in the car waiting for a stop light on a bridge in North Charleston, SC. We had just walked through some of the most difficult, fiery trials of our lives, and the words to this song hit all three of us with such force that we all sat there in that car and cried like babies.

As we listened to the Powell Sisters sing it the other day, Zach commented that he likes this version even more than the original version we heard. I hope you can take the time to listen to the words and that they will bless you as much as they have blessed my family and me.

The three of us now find ourselves standing at another crossroads with a lot of uncertainty looming over us. Circumstances beyond our control, but not beyond The Shepherd's, are threatening to uproot our lives. It hit us out of nowhere and was so unexpected, but we know it did not surprise Him. He still reigns and is sovereign over all that touches us; we trust Him.

The other day I was praying so earnestly about this situation, and I heard Him speak so clearly to my spirit and say, "I will fight for you. You won't have to." Oh, the relief and comfort that brought to me! I don't know how He is going to work things out for us, but the battle is His. I think about the times in the Bible when someone was inspired with the courage to stand up and say, "The battle is the Lord's!" Each time that happened, God's people won! So, I am proclaiming right here and now that "This battle is the Lord's," and we expect Him to fight it for us just like He told me He would. 'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus!

It will be interesting to see how He fights and makes this work together for our good. He didn't say that everything in our lives will be good. But He did say that all things will "work together for the good" of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. There is zero doubt that the three of us love Him with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strength, and He has called us according to His purpose. So, I know He will take this situation and work it together for our good—some way, somehow.

If you face a hard trial or uncertainty, I pray God will comfort you and let you know He is walking right by your side. Mom always told me that there are three things God can't do—He can't lie, He can't change, and He can't fail. Praise His holy name! He is a faithful God. You can trust Him.

"It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD." Lamentations 3:22-26

"Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD." Psalm 31:24

I pray for everyone who will ever read these words, in Jesus' name.
